I have found a house that I am going to buy and rehab. Looks like about $10K in costs, but the concrete driveway is spalling and needs to be replaced.
Would you guys replace it or just leave it?

It depends how far gone it is. Please give more details. Six months ago I replaced 1,000 sf of driveway on a rental property; I believe it was around $3,900. I had no choice, the tree damage literally broke the turn-around into charge chunks and they were turned heavily from square. You couldn’t even back up on it without your car bottoming out.
How do the driveways in the rest of the neighborhood look? If you can’t use it, you will have to fix it IMHO.
Good luck.
you can also replace just the cracked parts of the driveway.
compromise is the key to life…
i like the cut out and repalce the concrete idea or…
asphalt over it.
good luck
The driveway is pretty much shot. It is buckling in several places and about the top third of it is spalled right off.
sounds like you will need to replace it, and also will have to recompact your subbase.
I’m with Black all the way – make sure you get more than one bid. I found that concrete work varies widely.
Good luck to you.
