Good Afternoon Everyone,
I don’t see too much of this topic on the boards, and I’m interested to see what people have to say on it. IMHO negotiations are a pretty important factor with REI whether its with the banks for a short sale or the seller. My question is this:
What sort of techniques do you feel should be utilized in negotiations? How do you recommend the newbie investor go about the initial negotiations with the banks and/or a HO?
I’ve read a couple of the articles on the site and listened in on some of the teleconferences on short sales and they don’t seem to give a steady position on “real-life” situations. Any seasoned negotiators out there want to give some advice on the topic?
