Negotiating with bank as shortsale now i find a realtor involved?

Hey Guys,

So, i have been taking with CW AFTER the sheriffs sale happened BUT within the 6 month redemption period for the owner… I have been negotiating with the Shortsale team Since Feb/March and we keep going back and forth…

Now, i find that a Realtor put up a paper flyer on the house door saying “For any info on this property please contact BLAH BLAH at ReMax”…

Should i still be talking with the Shortsale team? The house still has 6 weeks on its redemption period. Or is this now going to switch to REO? I dont want to sit there and negotiate with one team while the house moves through the labryinth/“system” of CW…

What do you guys think? I literally just talked with the shortsale negotiator 2 days ago and she says my latest offer is still under “review” has been for the last 3 weeks… I put in 2 other offers and they were rejected within days now this offer has been under review for 3 weeks…

Karim - have you thought about asking the negotiatior you are working with about the agent? You can ask point blank if you should now negotiate with the agent or directly with the bank as you have been doing…

Sounds like it is REO. The agent is in charge selling the property. Hence the sign on the lawn.

yeah, its now REO… but, no sign on lawn yet.
