Zillow and homeradar are cool but not for finding comps in AL. Any other sites you guys use to find comps? PlS HELP.
I suggest estblishing a working relationship with a local realtor. This will work like this; they will supply you with property data in exchange for lising rights on some deals you transact.
Happy Investing!
I agree. A great working relationship with a real estate agent is the best way to go. You will get far better comps from an agent than any site out there.
I third! I used zillow, ditech and BOA to get ball parks. I’m working with a realtor and he emailed me solid comps off the area.
Hopefully I can find a realtor that I don’t have to babysit. I’ve talked to a few. So far not overly impressed. They’ll do for right now. They are a dime a dozen so I’m sure I’ll catch hold of a good one.
It also helps if the realtor really knows the area. There are plenty of them out there. You can even have a couple of them working for you.
I found this site:
https://www.melissadata.com/lists/ezlists/ezHomeowners.aspx?zip=12345
for comps on an ad at Bid4Assets.com
I use it with Zillow too…tho i take off 10% of a zillow valuation when running numbers.
