I’ve found a house on the lake that is in probate. I’ve spoken to the executor and the lawyer for the estate. They want to liquidate all assets, so they’ve agreed to acept an offer from me on the house and then present it to the judge for approval. They have never seen the house and think it’s basically a demolition situation. Houses on either side (lake access also) have a tax asses of 290K and 303K. Loan amount is 101K and tax asses is 133K. Needs 30K in repairs min. I want to offer 120K.
I’m in GA, so anyone with probate experience please chime in.
