Has anyone encountered this scenerio on your short sale deals?
The buyers title company is stating that there is a problem with the title. The title company can’t explain the problem and this deal is ready to close on Friday. The title company wants me to:
- Deed the Property from the Trustee back to the Owner
- Provide a copy of the Land Trust Documents
- Provide a copy of my LLC Documents
If the title company wants me to Deed the property back to the owner why would they need the Land Trust & my LLC documents?
Please advise how to handle this situation.
