Hello, I currently have a few rental properties in Buffalo that my current PM is mismanaging on my behalf, which includes extreme slow pay (2 mos. behind), overcharging 25-40% above the normal retail prices for repairs and will not Section 8 the properties. Which in my guess he gains more control of my funds every month because the only funds I do receive are from two tenants in a duplex I have. If anyone can refer me to someone reliable and trustworthy that would be great, Thanks

This is exactly the reason why I backed out on several property package in Buffalo,besides the taxes,vacancy rates,lead paint and a bunch of other stuff…Be very careful who you hire next…Notorious games are deliberately putting bad tenants in apartments to cause an eviction(they get paid for that) then to keep making fees for new tenants(usually a months rent or 1/2) then the stealing of the rent money,overcharging for handyman type work,not answering phone calls,charging for vacancies ( I mean why bother filling an apartment if they make 1/2 pay for leaving it empty with no headaches)…Then these property managers try and take the high road and say " I won’t manage a property under $50k or I won’t manage a property that has section 8/DSS"…It angers me so much, I mean the **** is your job then?..
karguy if you want I can give you the email address of someone that I spoke with that seemed to have 1/4 of a brain vs none like the others I spoke with…I cannot say if the person is any good and anyone who owns absentee properties can tell you property managers always know how to sell themselves to the in need out of state homeowner…Private message me if you want but it comes with NO experience of this person other than a few conversations…MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT BEING CHARGED FOR VACANT APARTMENTS !!!
