naming an LLC...

I’m going to be forming a single member LLC sometime in the future and have begun trying to figure out what to name it. I was wondering if somebody could give me a few ideas about how to go about choosing a name.

I see a lot of people have “Properties” or “Funding” as part of their name, but why not “Real Estate”? Is that description off limits for investors or what?

You can name it anything you want that isn’t close to another business’s name. For privacy reason, avoid the use of your name.

The more important question is why do you plan to use a the single member LLC.

…and as long as it doesn’t violate a copyright. For instance, the term “Realtor” is copyright-protected by the National Association of Realtors…
