My 1st Chat with a potential buyer...

Can I say, Wow! I was very nervous about calling him back, as he replied to my craigslist ad this afternoon. But I called him and it was great. And, he lives in the same town I do.

I know it’s not much, but I felt the need to share my experience. :smile

Hi,

Congradulations, keep the momentum going and don't get discouraged by deals that just won't work as you only need one to start with!

That’s awesome! I finally got CL to let me post (don’t remember verification by phone before)… Only a couple of hours later I got 5 investor ‘looking’ responses and one o/o that wanted to rent to own… Plan on emailing them back and somehow getting them on the phone so I can find out what type of buyer they are…

I am super happy for you (secretly happy for self too :cool ) I will admit some advise I got from Delondon (paraphrased) Action is 80% of battle, without action you can not get results! So here is to action :beer Your deal is not to far behind!

Good luck, keep posting I love to hear about others success… Just read a post from not too long ago about a guy and his first deal… He just got started and learned through the deal and got paid! Paid to learn how to make $$$ sounds lovely yo me…

Happy Investing

Richard

so what kinf od wording do you use to locate potential buyers on v=craigs list. also what catagory?

I have he same question as htjohnson. Can anyone help? Thanks

I have an update to that. I’ve since moved out of the area, and he somehow found out I was putting ads on cl to find some vacant land on craigslist for him and he never talked to me after that. Since then, I moved out of state and haven’t market for buyers since.

But, when I had my ad listed, I was getting calls from regular buyers who had cash, were approved for a loan, and a mad realtor who I took pictures of that was an reo to list on the site. I got a tongue lashing on that one, but you live and learn. If I can find the ad I put out, I’ll post it here.

Thanks that would be a help.
