What is the most reliable brand of air conditioner based on your experience? This will be a free-standing unit that ties into the furnace blower and duct work. We are preparing to have two installed. Although we may have just got a problematic unit, the Lennox unit at one of our rentals has been problematic.
I’m pretty sure they’re all the same. Components are shared beween brands.
I generally like the ones with R410A and a copeland scroll compressor without any reversing valves or dual staging. They’re dead simple.
Goodman. And if/when they do break down they are easy to work on and easy to get parts for.
Trane’s are the best I have ever seen - and I own many types of AC units. I highly recommend them
