Mixed Use Property

I’m looking into rehabbing and holding a mixed use property (2 apts + 1 store front), in an area that should be up and coming - at least in the next 2 years.

I was wondering what your experience has been with Mixed Use properties, if you like them, don’t like them, and why?

I like to finance them (I’m sure that isn’t exactly the feedback you were hoping for)…
