Hey,
What is the success rate for mass marketing mailings to a particular area?
Is the success rate worth the ill will?
Case in point - apparently yesterday 750 homes in the 76308 area code (Wichita Falls, Tx - population approx. 100,000 - and the area I rei in) recieved a mass mailing from an investor. It was made to look like it was handwritten on a legal pad. Approximately 20 individuals called the local BBB and one of the local TV stations and it made the 6 o’clock news. They did say that it appeared not to be a scam but portrayed the investor as a little shady as the copy appeared to be something (a personal handwritten note) that it was not.
That is why I have targeted my mailings and have had reasonable success. They still might get pissed but they know who I am and why I chose to mail them (there was a valid reason for my message).
What is the thinking of the group here?
Peace,
Richard
Sounds like it was a very slow news day when mass mailings are consider news worthy! Sorry I dont have any input for your other questions.
How awsome free news. I wish I could have my mailings talked about on the news. However think of some ideas to make you and your company look more ligitmate. Have a website that has a solid about us. Have lots of testamonials on it and so on. Everything is perception.
P.S. I haven’t done an about us in over a year but it’s on my list. I haven’t had my integrity questioned though.
