You’re not going to get a ton of response right away, but I get calls from people that have held on to my letters and postcards for a year or more.

For me, short and sweet is where it’s at.

Thanks Paul as your posts are very informative. I will revise it to make it a little shorter and more crisp. Any other thoughts out there?

I wouldn’t necessarily throw out the a long copy approach—what works in Paul’s market, might not work in yours…You’ll need to test & measure the response rates of short copy vs. long copy in your market to determine what works best.
