Marketing to Attorneys

I need help in writing a marketing letter that I can use to send to divorce attorneys, etc. Has anyone had success in writing one?

The paper would get wet!

I take it that you feel marketing to divorce and bankruptcy attorneys is a was of time and money. Is that it?

No I was trying to be funny… I guess I need more practice… I only market to the house owner…

This should be enough to get you started…The key is to follow-up regularly. When attorneys (or any one else for that matter) run into a situation where an investor can help, you want them to think of you first.

You may want to consider a targeted mailing with a handwritten envelope…it’s got to get past the “gatekeeper” who actually opens the mail and screens out all the junk and solicitations.

One of my partners is great at getting bankruptcy attorneys to send us deals, it started out with one bk attorney that went to his church. Side note; we also had our stuff together and had done a bunch of deals before he ever aprotched this attorney. He leveraged this one relationship and doing a great job for him, treating people more than fair, and being 100% legit in every aspect, in to 5 bk attorneys that send us deals all the time. Oh yeah we pay them a hell of a lot too. But its a keep up with the jones’ type of thing, “oh so and so is doing it and getting paid” “well I might want to look into that also”. We dont know about marketing to them, but from high touch relationship building we have done well with bk attorneys, the same can be said for mortgage companies that hold their loans.
