Making a new buyers list, need advice please.......

I’m just starting out in the REI game and need advice. My mentor has kind of pooped out on me, so I figure the best way for me to learn is to ask lots of questions at my meetings and on here and go out and do it. I need to make a new buyers list and have an ad that sounds like this:

ATTN: REHABBERS/INVESTORS-FIXER UPPERS-DEEP DISCOUNTS- XXX-XXX-XXXX

Obviously I don’t have any pending deals, how do I explain that I am still in search for houses and I would like to keep there information on file for when I do have a deal for them?

What’s wrong with just telling them what you just said? And at the same time ask them exactly what they’re looking for.

Create a list of every we buy houses people and investors in your area from signs, rei clubs, online ads, social media, etc. Also get public records and find cash purchases in your target areas and target price ranges and contact these people. This should build you quite an impressive buyers list.
