Loss MIt phone # for Litton Loan Servicing?

Anyone have a DIRECT phone number to the Loss Mitigation deptartment?? I have been trying to contact them, and the main customer service tells me they don’t have a direct line, OR an extension to even transfer me. They have to take my info, and email the Loss Mit department. that seems like a) very ineffecient, and b) very annoying. I can’t have that everytime I need to speak to someone over there. If anyone has a number for that department, I’d really appreciate it!

This is somewhat common. In fact, some banks policies don’t allow the foreclosure department to ever have contact with you. You have to deal with one department that liaisons with the foreclosure department.

I’ve never worked with Litton, but …

So I just got off the phone with LLS. You need to fax your authorization letter to 713.218.3777. Wait 24 to 72 hours for it to get entered into the system. Then call 800.999.8501 and tell the computer voice “operator”. You may have to do this 2 or 3 times before you get to a real person. They answered right away once I was connected.

Tell them you faxed in the auth letter and confirm that it’s in the system. They will be able to tell you who the LMR is that has your case. They track them by loan numbers. From there you should be connected directly to the LMR handling your case. Be sure to get their extension so you don’t have to go through this process every time. You can enter the extension as soon as you call the 800 number.

Thanks for the info. I have actually spoken to a few people over there, and I know they have notes in the system… but who am I supposed to negotiate with?

I’ve dealt with a bunch of lenders, and have always actually, eventually spoken to a rep to negotiate with. I’ve gotten the run around a few times, but again, eventually I get someone.

I’ve been connected to people each time I’ve called, but they all give me the same “We don’t have an extension to transfer you or a direct line, all we can do is email them” schpiel. Their full of shit. I was just asking for company policy information, not about any particular loan. That was really messing with them, they couldn’t seem to understand what I was asking or they just didn’t know their own company policy pertaining to short sales.

They kept telling me the same email thing, but eventually I was transfered to the loss mitigation department to a loss mit rep by the name of Larry. I couldn’t understand his last name… I got his voice mail. But the point is that someone did transfer me to the loss mit department.

Oh yeah…I called twice and spoke with probably 8 different people in those two calls. Lots of transfers. Just keep calling and transferring until you speak with the same people multiple times or until you get to who you need to get too.
