Looking for a mentor

I am a commercial agent and have been for over 10 years. The majority of my experience is in leasing, but do have some in development, project management, asset management, etc. I am completely burned out of being a broker. I have had to chase down commissions on 4 of my last 5 deals and have grown tired of it. I have thought about a career change, but my passion is in real estate. I want to use my experience and skills and enter into the investment world. However, I am looking for a mentor/partner who can help make this transition smoother. I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity.

i am looking for suggestions, where would be the best place to look for these individuals?

I am certainly up for the challenge.

Check out your local CCIM Chapter. You’ll find a great network of commercial real estate professionals who’ll be happy to help you match up with a mentor/partner there.

Yep Zillow could be. But be sure to exhaust all options and also to have someone who’s recommended by a relative, close friend or someone whom you could trust. Good luck!
