How Can i find out the original loan amount on a property and the amount left on the loan?

You can’t unless you get the phone number for the bank and a written authorization by the seller allowing you to look at their loan information.
Basically, you first need to get in contact with the seller and have him authorize you. I know of no other way. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah, in that case, you would have to contact the bank and get the information regarding the loan from them.
If it is now an REO, why does it matter what the loan amounts were? In my area, the county recorder has a web site where recorded mortgage docs are accessible, so that may be a start.
