Live answering service vs Phone tree system

I’m currently investing part time and I’m trying to work out the bugs in my system.
I have an 877 # on all my marketing (bandit signs, post cards, letters etc…)
When I can’t answer the phone, it goes to voice mail…
I sometimes set the phone to ring to both my office and my cell phone.
The problem is that I can’t always answer the cell phone while at work …
Sometimes people leave their name and #…sometimes they hang up.

One could argue that the hang up’s were probably not motivated enough anyway…
HOWEVER, at times I’ve followed up on the hang up’s right away, "I’m sorry I missed your call, HOW may I help you etc…
this has resulted in a deal here or there…

SO here’s my question…I’m considering shifting to 2 step marketing, sending prospects to a pre-recorded message + website
with various extensions.(phone tree) (to test my marketing) If they like what they hear and would like to learn more and speak to someone, they can press______ or they can leave their name and # etc…
I can then have those calls forwarded to my cell and office and speak to more motivated sellers. (still a challenge answering)

OR…should the calls be handled by a service like patlive??
services like patlive can become costly from what I hear

Do you think Home owners would want to speak with someone NOW who can help vs someone (like patlive) who will take their info???

I’m leaning toward the phone tree and forwarding calls to my office and cell. ( until I can complete more deals)
Any thoughts from our more experienced investors??
