LET THE ANCIENTS PLAY THE GAME

HEY,
Some gathered thoughts (as I have lost my own back there a ways:
3 clues that point to a persons being old:

  1. Old is when you lose your dream

  2. Old is when you start turning in on yourself

  3. Old is when you look backward more that when you look forward. – Suzaane Dale Ezell
Try this: “The first forty years of life give us the text, the next thirty supply the commentary on it.” - Schopenhaver
Finally: :I have enjoyed greatly the second blooming that comes when you finish the life of the emotions and personal relations; and suddenly find - at the age of 50 say - that a whole new life has appeared before you, filled with things you can think about, study, or read about … It is as if a fresh sap of ideas and thought was rising in you.; - Agatha Christie

Life is pretty much what you make of it. One must make choices, own those choices, be responsible for them and accountable for each. whether for good or for ill, whether young or ancient, It is by those very choices we slumber in a stupor or awake with dreams, ideas and vigor to see them to success. Awake or asleep, no matter if we are young or old. Decisiveness and action belong to no age, no sex, no ethinicity. Dreams can run free in the minds of all men, The body can produce action in all men and the heart can give the courage to carry on.We all need the spark of life to be ignited in each of us. We call on our fellows to help fan the fire within us. The fire of the dream, the flame of knowledge, the roar of courage’s burning, the lava flow of action. We all, the young warriors and us ancient ones, can mount the wall of the city and declare it ours - each SFR, each multi-family, each apt.building, each condo, those vacant lots. They can be conquered in the name of cash flow, or buy and hold, or flipping, or wholesale. Our means are many and our gods are few. This was all to say that us ancient ones are with you young bucks all the way. We may wish to learn the wonders that you perform. You may wish to learn some life lessons - lessons that will stand by you come good or ill. I grow weary and my fingers faint. I must get regular so I don’t stop up. A stoppage in the lower regions regulates flow in the upper regions. A word to the wise.
    Peace,
    Richard
