Legitimate wholesale contracts

Where do you wholesale investors get your option to purchase agreements and assignment contracts? I been getting mixed reviews about where to get these contracts. Everybody saying something different, but no one is really saying where to go and how to go about getting LEGITIMATE contracts to do the deals. The ones on the internet as said to be not the best choice. And lawyers charge a big price to draw up pieces of paper with he same information I could have downloaded off the internet.

The people on this site are from all over the country and since what you are requesting is subject to state laws you need to be more specific.

If you are new to real estate investing, either you find a local investor/mentor who is willing to share with you his/her contracts for some compensation when the first deal is done or go to your local real estate investors’ meeting and find out if you can get some recommendations there.

Be careful about using some generic option contract that you can find on the internet - since you probably don’t have much experience in real estate, and do not know what to look out for, you might leave yourself open for legal issues.

I’m not getting any response from one of the local investors I was bird dogging for. I contacted someone from the local REIA. This person referred me to an attorney, which is not what I was hoping for. It looks like a lawyer is my only choice of getting those contracts.

If you had a wholesaling study course, contracts should have been provided. An investor or wholesaler may provide you with certain state or local specific language that may need to be added. Check your local REIA.

I contacted a guy from REIA about contracts I already have. I wanted someone to look over the contracts to make sure they are legal to use here in my state. I was referred to a lawyer, but lawyers charge a lot just to look over the contracts.
