When you plan on doing a lease option; does the landlord require you to show how much money you make?

I’m a bit confused. Are you going to be leasing the place yourself and living there?
I sure would hope all landlords would be verifying the income of tenants. Knowing they make enough to cover the rent is a pretty high up there piece of information to find out.
That said, each individual landlord can verify income or not. It is up their personal choice.
If the landlord doesn’t require an applicant to verify income, he won’t be a landlord for too long.
