I have heard of it being beneficial to buy a home to live in using a lease option. I am having a hard time understanding how it could be beneficial to do this. Any ideas. Thank alot.

A few quick reasons
You do not have to have the credit show up on your credit report which may give you better ratios etc when getting mortgages on other deals
Less cash out of pocket to do most lease purchases.
Save expenses on closing costs vrs standard closing.
Move in faster and easier
If you need to relocate just pack the truck and take off without as much hassle.
Heck I am going to sell my house and do a lease purchase
