How do I get my assignment fee in a lease option assignment? Also, are assignments and cooperative lease options the same?
assignment fees are collected as a down payment from your tenant buyer… these are applied to the purchase price on the house IF the option is exercised… if the option is not exercised… the assignment fee is non-refundable and collected as income.
