I was wondering how to find a hotel owner willing to lease a hotel with the option
to buy?

Hi,

 It is possible to lease option a hotel / motel and you will probable have more success looking to class C properties currently managed as mom and pop operations. Most of these property types will be known as motels instead of hotels as in the class a / class b hotel industry their is a lot of corporate competition and flagged hotels have a lot of potential buyers.

I knew a guy who lease optioned a 26 unit motel in Washington state who did well with that investment over about 2 years. They did a cheap paint and carpet clean up with changes in marketing, reservations and housekeeping and made pretty good money exercising and then selling the property.

I know where there is a motel for lease/option . It is located in a popular beach area on the east coast. It is located 5 blocks from the beach. I have some of the specifics if you’re interested. Property even includes a restaurant on the same corner of the motel. (Restaurant included if property is purchased)
