I have read Buy It, Fix It, Sell It by Kevin Myers and now I 'm looking for more material I can educate myself with concerning rehabs.

You’ll need to read more than a few books before your ready for rehabs.
Some of the more popular books which are decent that you can get at just about any book store are:
- Investing in Fixer- Uppers by DeCima
- Find it, Buy it, Fix it by Irwin
- Real Estate Flipping by Weiss
- Make Money with Fixer- Uppers and Renovations by Eldred
- Profits in Buying and Renovating Homes by Dworin
- Maverick Approach to Real Estate Success by McKinney
- Flip by Villani and Davis; this one is the best out of all of them, and you’d really have enough of an understanding to get started just by reading this. I’d recommend doing more than reading books before you jump in but that’s just me.
I agree on the education part. I never go into anything with a hint of doubt. We plan on becoming fully prepared first.
But I am lucky that my partner owns his own construction business (Over 12 years now) and has contacts for everything needed to be done and contacts within city government.
I will research that Villani/Davis book.
