We have purchase, sale, and assignment contracts that we developed that we would like to use to wholesale properties in Philadelphia. We are finding that when we send them to lawyers/title companies in Philadelphia, that they are not able to be used. They want us to use their 19-page standard PA contracts. We are confused because we were taught in our classes that we could write our own contracts. We reviewed our wholesale course materials and believe that our contracts have everything in them that is necessary for a cash deal.
Will all lawyers and title companies want to use the standard PA contracts? Or are we just not finding the ones that truly work with investors? If anyone wants to give us the contact info of the lawyer/title company they use it would be greatly appreciated.
