When you come across a large home, 5 brs or more, do you keep it whole, or make it a multi family?
Why or why not?
Guestimates/Shared experience on costs to convert? What do you do when all the bedrooms are upper level? 1st floor has Kit, LVrm only.
never done it, but first and foremost youhave to chekc the zoning laws for that area.
if you split it into a duplex, you have build a new kitchen. This can easily be $10k or more.
Also, I think its very dependant on the layout of the house. I’ve seen some of these properties that ended up being very funky (doors and stairs in stranges places, etc).
