I am having hard time finding cheap insurance coverage for 8 unit occupied apartment building in Grand Rapids, MI. After calling a number of insurance agents, the only company that is willing to cover 8 unit building appears to be travellers. Cheapest quote with their coverage is $2600. This seems insane, couple years ago my insurance coverage on this building was as low as $950.
Nothing changed with me or building. No claims, no problems, good credit score.
Does anyone have any tips where I can get some reasonable insurance coverage for 8 unit apartment building?
