I am looking at a 20 acres land which is competetively priced. It’s been on the market for 9 months. There is an electric easement and power transmitters run through the land. What is the downside of this? Is it a good buy or not? What are the chances of the price going up in the near future? All the other lots within a mile or two of this are priced $ 3000 more an acre. I would appreciate any input.
You have not given us enough information to know if it is a good deal or not. However from what you have told us I can tell you that if you have a greenbelt running through the property then you will not be able to use all 20 acres, and if you plan on developing it in the future buyers will not be willing to pay as much for lots that have power lines running near them. Especially ones with children.
