I must share this phrase. I’d never heard it before.
Getting ready to write a cover on a presentation that will pay more than 90K when/if closes. Had to ask for opinions from several sources due to the fact that the commission amount overwhelmed me and I got brainlocked after buyer source showed extreme interest in my deal. The thing that suddenly unlocked my brain was my step dad telling me to “kiss” the deal!?!
“what do you mean KISS it”…
“Keep It Simple Stupid”!!!
Sell your product (deal) and then your professionalism.
How could I be so stupid?..to not keep it as simple as any other deal I’ve ever done???
I took it as a lesson to kiss the deal no matter whom your dealing with, or how much it pays. It’s the product they want first and then the professionalist to make it happen.
(Guess I was having a Braincramp!)

There are several of here that are big purveyors of this concept. I read some of the postings here and say to myself, “Wow, this guy (gal) is making it waaaaay to hard”!
I keep it as simple as I am!

I have a bad habit of over analysizing the simplest things when it comes to high dollar clients or big pay checks ahead. When working on 5 figure paychecks as opposed to 4, anxiety tends to kick in just a little.
I think the “kiss” concept (so simple) needs to be implanted in everyone no matter what the deal is.
I’ve just never dealt with such a big deal before, and this one just kinda blew my mind into bubbles until some one set me straight to take it as any other deal.
