Hi all,

I’m looking for ways to finance my second investment property. Along the way I’ve discovered the Katz Mortgage Team located in Georgia. The website seems to offer all the services I would be interested in, and services Illinois. How can I verify the reputation of this company? Nothing came up in my quick search through the BBB.

If anybody has any insight, or has used this company successfully, I’d appreciate your comments.

Call local title companies and realtors. Also, check with the state division of financial institutions to see if there have been any complaints.

There are 100"s of firms that can handle multi-state needs. Even the most state of the art websites do not ensure professionalism.

You might also ask them for references of other investors that they have worked with.
