John Jackson's Lease Option Classes?

Anyone familiar with John’s program? He seems to be having success with his business model. Wondering if anyone has first hand experience? He had a class in Dallas this past May, and another one scheduled for Atlanta in November.
http://www.leaseoptionclasses.com/

His website says he has been doing this for a while but I have never heard of him.

The next big guru thing, perhaps? lol

Haven’t taken the classes, but John sure knows his stuff.
You do know that’s “pilot”, right?

Hey there guys…

I’ve…yes…actually MET John Jackson. Oh yea, and taken his class too. LOL

I traveled out to Dallas and actually watched & listened to him take calls from sellers and show a few houses to prospective tenant/buyers. I also watched & learned how NOT to go 45 MPH in a 35 MPH speed limit zone as he was driving us to a house to put up one of his company Lease Purchase signs. :doh

Where most Lease Option seminars deal with the information and theory, I needed help with the actual application and day to day business issues of doing Lease Options.

It gave me a wayyyyyyy better idea of how to put a BUSINESS together. Everything is very streamlined to get the ball rolling to do multiple deals (if that’s what you want) rather than pick one up here and there. I’m really excited for the next 6 months as I now have all the items in place and have time to focus more on doing Lease Purchases.

I missed his last class but I’m going to seriously try to make it to the November class in Atlanta. I really like his approach and the fact that he actually DOES this for a living! I’ve been visiting his site for a while now and everything that I see looks really great.

He says his class sizes are small and he doesn’t sell books so that’s a nice change. Also, it seems like he’s earnest about helping people get their own business started. After I complete his class I’ll post here and give feedback.

Darin - are you the “Darin” he interviewed on his site? I thought that was really informative. Good to listen to. Thanks for giving good insight into what Lease Option Classes are all about.

If anyone else wants the link for the interview they can visit the site.

I’ve just attended John Jackson’s Lease Option Class a week ago in Atlanta!! I had never attended a class like this because it was really, really small size, just as he promised, for total learning and participation.

You know you need a helmet when riding a motorcylce, right, now, I’m warning you-- You need a “helmet” to attend John’s class because your brain will overload with the best and most genuine information you

need to leave your business competition in the dust.

Don’t procrastinate. Sign up asap for John’s next class, you will never regret it. And you’ll know I did not lie.

P.S. I’d let you find out for yourself about John, but I’m not a good secet keeper. Well, I found out he’s a wonderful person, very committed, generous, an expert in his field, young, handsome, intelligent, very

successful. On top of all that, he’s so much fun all the time! Taking John’class will require you to either enjoy yourself or have lots of fun. And he even allows you to pick both options!!

I think of him as “fiesta boy” because he even speaks Spanish!

Please do yourself a big favor and DON’T take his expensive class!! Take actual real estate classes and become licensed in your state.

He is a fraud! I realize that those who have taken his class think he is wonderful. I know who he really is. He is far from being the person described on some of these posts.

He couldn’t even hire someone to proofread his website. It’s full of spelling and punctuation errors. That should be your first red flag, especially since his wife is a school teacher!

I have attended John’s Lease Option Classes and let me tell you it is the real deal! Before I attended his class I had very little knowledge about how to run my own lease option business. Now after 2 weeks I have a full blown business in place and have already started to pick up deals…

John Jackson’s Lease Option classes gives you all the information you need to go out and duplicate his success. It is the closest thing to having a franchise without paying the franchising fee.

I have had the pleasure of meeting him and actually seeing how he runs his business and let me make it clear he is the REAL DEAL! I don’t think its that big of a deal that he has a few typo’s on his site he probably out working in his business rather than proof reading his site.
Unlike the gurus who don’t even have a website up for you to see their business, John’s is an open book.

I would highly recommend his course to anybody looking to get into the lease option business!

Lou1942…

Do you have some proof/facts to back up your statement or is this just a one time post of your “opinion”?

One more question for you…Do you know what Defamation & Libel are? If not, let me brief you:

Defamation is false and unprivileged spoken words or written publication, which exposes any living person to hatred, contempt, ridicule, or which causes him/her to be shunned or avoided, or which has a tendency to injure him/her in his/her trade or occupation.

Libel tends directly to injure in respect to a person’s office, profession, trade or business, either by imputing to him/her general disqualification in those respects that the office or other occupation peculiarly requires, or by imputing something with reference to his/her office, profession, trade, or business that has a natural tendency to lessen its profits.

…“DON’T take his expensive class!! Take actual real estate classes and become licensed in your state.”… Are you even familiar with how much it is to be a licensed Realtor? First, let’s pay for the classes to learn to be an Agent, then possibly pay for a background check, then let’s pay for the actual state test (and repay if you fail it), then after deciding on a Brokerage you may have to pay a desk fee at your office, then pay your $70ish MONTHLY MLS dues to access the MLS, then pay for your MLS lockbox key, then you have to pay your MONTHLY E&O insurance, and then pay $480ish for your YEARLY Realtor dues, then pay your local Realtor Association yearly dues, not to mention paying for the educational classes, which you are required to take, to keep your license current.

…“I know who he really is.”… I KNEW IT! I thought there was something a little different about John. HE’S THE GREEN HORNET! I thought I saw him taking off that green mask one time but I never put 2 and 2 together! It all makes sense now!

May I also add that he has a website guy take care of his site for him. Maybe his website guy is the “fraud”. Or maybe it’s the website guy’s high school english teacher who is the “fraud” because they obviously failed in their efforts to teach him correctly. Or maybe…just maybe…it’s his website guy’s, mother & father who are to blame, for they did not instill in their young son the explicit virtues of 100% correct spelling…for later in life, he may be shunned, ridiculed, and shown contempt as a “fraud”. But alas, the weight falls upon John (as the Green Hornet we have now learned) and his wife’s weary shoulders to NEVER again misspell a word or use incorrect punctuation for fear of having the scarlet letter bound them for the rest of their lives.

;D

Darin

Darin,

I do have facts and personal knowledge and experience. Many years’ worth.

I am quite familiar with the law and legal terminology.

Well, well, well…. “Lou1942” huh?..hmm……this seems to wreak of “Comma MBA”! HA! Not sure why you are hiding behind a screen name, or why you are lurking around a real estate form, but it sounds like you are still severely emotionally scarred over me letting my ex-partner go a few years ago…I know it’s not him making this post, as he is a bigger man than to talk smack about someone’s wife because they’ve devoted over 20 years of their lives as a teacher…you on the other hand….well……
I should actually thank you Comma MBA, as it was you that proved to me that allowing just anyone to try to operate under my company’s name was a very BAD idea, which is why I decided NOT to offer franchises, and instead just teach people how to duplicate my very successful system. Part of the 4 day training is devoted specifically to business and what NOT to do in regards to operating a business, and there again…well………
I don’t frequent real estate forums or sites, as I am too busy, and after looking at a handful of the posts on this forum….YIKES!
This site seems to have a common theme on each topic:
“Too much hatin’ and not enough helpin’ ”
I took a quick peek at a number of posts, and I have to say I feel so bad for the people relying on this forum as a way to learn real estate, because each question is responded to by someone that seems to be pissed at the world and gives the person asking the question a bunch of hate and no help.
Nice.
For those of you wanting to learn lease options, I would suggest the forum site that AJ states above as one of his favorites. (BTW- Jason, I’d still like to get in on that moonshine! HA!)
But regardless of what avenue of real estate or business you are trying to start, keep in mind there will ALWAYS be crabs. I wrote about the “crabs” in a newsletter, and I hope it helps you realize that you have to ignore the hatin’ and the negative things people say, and YOU are in control of your achievements, not anyone else.

Don’t be a crab….
