Is pirating bandit signs....... Wrong?

You know if you went and grabbed other peoples signs, painted them, and repurposed them with your own writing…

Let me rephrase the question… Is it just easier and less expensive to buy a pack of 100 signs & stands, instead of being bandit, a pirate, and a thief, all at the same time?

Whos to say its wrong?

It sort of kills three birds with one stone?

First, you are removing the competitions marketing materials

Two, you are saving on your own marketing expenses

Three, you are being a pirate and a bandit… Nice

Im tempted to fill up my trunk with OPS (other peoples signs)

Im not a thief normally actually im super trustworthy and ethical

but something about seeing OPS’s makes me want to be a bandit like that…

ban·dit (băn′dĭt)
n.

  1. A robber, especially one who robs at gunpoint.
  2. An outlaw; a gangster.
  3. One who cheats or exploits others.
  4. Slang A hostile aircraft, especially a fighter aircraft.
    Idiom:
make out like a bandit Slang
To be highly successful in a given enterprise.

Now lets get that phone ringing…

I wouldn’t steal somebody’s signs. I really try to be ethical. I don’t steal.

Good points. I agree. Then again its the nature of the beast.

People call them bandit signs for a reason

In the past when I put down signs somebody removes them within hours or days

Its most likely other bandits

Also when I put bandit signs down in an area (a 5-10 count of homemade signs) they kick my signs down and then put hundreds of their own signs in the same territory

I work hard building my signs from scratch

I dont exactly want to throw the other bandits a free pizza party for knocking down my homemade signs I worked hard at

It would be unethical to steal others signs

It’s not illegal where I live because the signs are illegal in the first place.

It’s like stealing someone’s marijuana.

I have done both.

I think bandits put down bandit signs and yank signs and pirate signs like its going out of style

Ethical people are just putting down ethical marketing material in public outdoor places and the signs are generally unwanted by most of the community because they are annoying signs; ethical marketing people know this but do it anyways, and their ethical signs are also illegal in many cases. At the end of the day they can rest assured they are somehow being ethical?

Your mentality is wrong. There are enough deals for everyone, and unless you develop an abundance mentality you will never be able to devolop the relationships needed with others in fear of competition stealing your potential clients.

Stealing other investors signs is amateurish and you’ll get weeded out like most the other guys… Doesn’t matter the ethics behind it, its chicken shit.

Alright agreed
