Hi. I’m a newbie. I recognized that John Behle was also a realtor who began investing and had a few problems from fisbo’s. I live in Texas, so does anyone know what a licensed agent in Texas has to do in order to conduct business as an investor legally without any repercussions? I feel so brainwashed by beginning my investing career as an agent for nearly 3 years now. Thanks.
I suggest you go to the website for the TX Real Estate Dept/Commission and look at the regs. In PA, RE agents and brokers are required to disclose their licensed status when operating as a principal and always are required to provide buyers and sellers with a Consumer Notice.
