Actually they were re-moved. There were too many issues with posters thinking that because they were on the site they were authorized by the site. Folks did not do their due diligence and were taken advantage of.

what was it about?
It was a classifieds section that allowed members to post ads. A great idea in theory but some folks used it to scam others and it had to be shut down. This site has always first and foremost been an informational site so it was decided that the ads would go and we would again focus purely on education, not ads and networking.
