Hello everyone i need some advice… I have an investor who recently rehabbed a property and asked me if i help him sell it he will pay me a cash commission… My question is how much do i charge him to do this or should it be a percentage of the sale and if so, what??? I do have a pretty nice buyers list on hand…
I’m a buy & hold investor so I’m not out doing what you’re doing…take this for what it’s worth. Things are negotiable. Just realize he could get a Realtor to list and sell the property for a 6% commission. I would say not to get too greedy. This could be the first of multiple deals if the investor keeps rehabbing and you keep selling. That being said, what’s your time and the goodwill of your buyer’s list worth?
