I have looked through the forums and have not found this question. I have zero dollars and no equity and I would like to become an REI. What investments outside of REI would anyone suggest so I can get a cash flow going? I already know what form of REI I am going to concentrate on so I have taken the very first step.
Bluemoon06,
I’m sorry my fault for not clarifying my position so please let me clarify. I have a job but like everyone on this forum I have come to realize that working for corporate America may pay the bills but you do not truly get ahead. Heck I even have a second job for the holidays that puts a little extra money in my pocket so I can try to start investing. So I ask again “what is good investment to try and start a good cash flow?” with little or no dollars to start.
I would say Real Estate is a perfect investment, although I’m only 17 I have read over and over what propertymanager has said time and time again. Buy a house at least 70% below market and use a small down payment, make repairs if needed, find a reliable tenant, and rent. Remember though, location, location, VALUE. My 2 cents, also I’m sure stocks and bonds are great but I haven’t done much reading on it.
