Rehabbing, Fix and Flip, Rental Properties

I am rehabbing a home in Akron Ohio and looking for an insurance agent or agency to purchase insurance until sold.

Have you tried anyone locally? I used to use a State Farm agent in Portage Lakes.

i have over 20 policies with state farm and they have always been dynamite.

I have insurance with Allied. I had our local State Farm guy try to get me lower rates than Allied and he could beat their rates.

I believe that you may need some form of construction insurance for that since you are rehabbing, and often retail insurance companies may have issues with offering those sorts of policies. You could be fine with larger firms but keep in mind that you need an agent who is 100% aware that you are rehabbing and you are not looking for regular home owner insurance.
