Information Request

Greetings. I am a real estate investor in MO with a few single family rental properties. In an attempt to go after “dead-beat” property owners and out-of-town landlords, the local city council has just past an ordinance which requires ALL landlords to divulge the members/parties (corporate officers, members of a trust, owners etc.) involved with ownership of all would-be rental properties. Some feel that this action is to appeal to constituents in blighted neighborhoods as a pacifier to help solve unattractive properties in the city.
However, I think this is counter-intuative and voids why entities/trusts are set up in the first place. I would like to see if I could do anything to combat this.
