I was trying to get the owners phone number for a 4 plex that was on the NOD list. and while doing so the teants, found out, it was in pre-foreclosure. They have been telling the owner I said not to pay rent. and now the owner want’s to sue me… if anyone has any advice please let me know thanks. :help :banghead
wow - did you actually tell the tenants not to pay rent?
You would think everyone could think for themselves, if you don’t pay rent you get evicted? if you get evicted you have to find somewhere else to live?
what sucks about being sued is even if you haven’t done anything it still costs money to answer the suit and defend yourself!
What are they asking for? you to pay everyones rent?
