Has anyone rehabbed a home or apartment using Ikea kitchen cabinets, etc.?
I’ve gone to the Ikea store and the products seem very nice for kitchen and bedroom. I’d like to eventually rehab a property using their products.

Our kitchen was rehabbed by a company from Home Depot. Better quality then Ikea. I like Ikea for the tupperware and rugs, not furniture or remodeling.
Lowes is the very best. We can rehab both our bathrooms for under 600 bucks. The new thing is cultured marble countertops…the sink is included. I have seen this for kitchens as well.
For countertops/cabinets Home Depot or Lowes is best- better then Ikea.
I’ve never used Ikea, but they seem pricey for what you get. Lowes has good quality at decent prices. I haven’t been that impressed with Home Depot’s cabinets.
A few months ago I was in the same situation. Should I go with Ikea, Home Depot or Lowes for my kitchen cabinets? Well, I ended up choosing the maple cabinets at Lowes because they were already built unlike the cabinets at Ikea and HD that would have to be assembled. It saved me some time and made installation a breeze.

I did the maple cabintes at Lowes. What a trasformation! I was impressed.
Fixtures, knobs, handles, and small decorative items are common from IKEA. I sometimes see cabinets from IKEA in East Austin because the home needs to look high quality, but you dont want to spend too much. Most buyers can’t tell.
Most contractors just use Lowes or Home Depot.
