I need HELP finding the the LIEN holder no longer New Century

The house down the block has been vacant for quite sometime, i just got back from recoreds on have a copy of the mortgage. How can i find out who the lender is to buy it from them? The bank who made them the loan was new century mortgage who went bk’d back in 2007.

Any ideas? I have a copy of the mortgage which the cute gal at the records office was nice enough to provide. I only have New Century’s old address but they’re GONE, no longer in biz obvioiusly they sold this loan on wall st. but to who???

want to buy to fix and flip. it’s worth 145k and the loan amount was for 100k maybe i can pick it up from the owners for 50k?

Unless you find a transfer of mortgage at the city of hall the original bank still owns the note weather they are bankrupt or not. I’m sure they will be collecting those payments until the loan is transferred. Good luck in your search.

Try an on-line search. There should be a trail to follow there.
