HUD: transferring lean balance from seller side to buyer side?


Is there any way to transfer the balance of a 2nd Mortgage who won’t negotiate down, from the seller side in a HUD to the buyer side? This is an A-C transaction, no investor involved. The lien is from a collection company which resulted from the 2nd mortgage U.S. bank turning it over to them. They aren’t accepting a reduced payout.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
