How to tell if an auction property was purchased by lender?

Hi all, I have a general question. There are a few sites that list properties available for auction. After the auction occurs, how can I tell if the property was purchased by a investor, or just purchased back by the lender? I noticed about 30 days after an action, the properties are showing up as ‘recently sold’ at a discounted price, but how does one find out if it’s just the lender that took the property back? I’m trying to get a gauge on what these properties are going for when bought buy investors. Thanks in advance.

Ask the registrar of deeds at your local courthouse.

If they go to an investor around here (N.E. PA), they usually go for payoff + $1. No joke.

I may be able to supply that information depending on the location you require. Respond to wheelema@hotmail.com.
