I’m fairly new to real estate investing. I’d like to begin wholesaling and have heard that the best way to quickly develop a buyer’s list is to run an ad in the newspaper for a property (that doesn’t exist) to get potential buyer’s to call. I’ve also heard that most people don’t run ads in newspapers because there are more people who don’t get a newspaper now and they get their news and information (including ads) online. Is there a way to develop a buyer’s list online?
What would you experts recommend for a quick way to develop a wholesale buyer’s list?
-Put ads on Craigslist- it’s free.
-Call for rent ads and ask the landlord if he/she is looking for more rentals
-Go to the auctions at the courthouse and talk to the investors there (cash buyers).
-Go to your local rei meetings and network.
Do those things, and you will find buyers.

Don’t rely on just one method for anything.
I would suggest the same things that steph mentioned plus really really work on leveraging relationships with other investors, realtors, and bankers in your area.
Call the ads that are already there & call all bandit sign numbers. See what these investors are looking for and go find it for them.
