I have 103 acres under contract in NY , near Corning. I was not looking for land but I got a really good deal on it because the seller needs to save his house. I have put it up in a few online websites and Craigslist. I wanted to know if you guys had any tips on how to market, wholesale, and close on land. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!
You haven’t provided enough details. Is it cleared land that can be farmed? What’s the soil like? Is it wooded with trees that can be sold to a forestry company. Is it a good location for a golf course? Is it a good location for a plan of subdivision? Is it next to a busy highway? What possible uses are you marketing it as? What’s it worth before and after? Based on what? The question is too vague. There are too many listings out there already for most buyers to care about a vague description like vacant land.
Is it suitable for grapes? They make botique wine in NY and a vineyard is a big dream of many. People are now looking for some business that they can invest in.
I thing if you needs to invest on land then you can start any kind of farming there which suits for the that land.If you feel that it is not the good option then you can go for selling the property to start a business that suites you.
