How do I look for owner financed homes ? As they do not say it in the papers?
I think most are found either in free circulars, like Greensheet, Thrifty Nickel, Penny Saver, or via bandit signs - at least that’s what I’ve found in my area. You can also try fsbo.com and forsalebyowner.com on the 'net.
If you are trying to buy a home that is seller financed, you could just offer or ask for it?
If you are looking for the ads in the paper, look for Owner Will Carry, or OWC.
It really isn’t that difficult to just ask if a seller is willing to take payments over time and get more than what they are asking over a few years.
I agree with the last statement. I simply went to various areas looking for fSBO signs, the newspaper, and my favorite searching the internet for FSBO sites…You will find sellers that don’t want to work with Realtors or can’t afford to…Just asking simple questions will lead to serious leads of motivated sellers willing to be creative…That’s how I got started…
