My realtor told me that it would take 2 weeks to establish title and esrow in NY.
I have the funds ready. I don’t know why it takes that long especially now that I have the funds ready. I want to close ASAP! Any advice? Thanks to all!
A basic preliminary report can often be had in a day, but things like CC&R’s and plotted easements can take much longer to obtain…at least in SoCal. It can also take quite a bit of time for lenders to produce loan docs, and for other lenders to return Payoff statements. Are you all set to be done with your due diligence and completing any contigencies in the next two weeks? If so, that’s mighty impressive!
Actually, I’m doing a hard money loan.
My lender said that their all ready. We’re just waiting for title and escrow.
