I am looking for property in Austin. I’m not experienced enough yet to make my own offers. What is a fair price for a Bird Dog? and exactly what does the bird dog do?

The typical bird dog fee that I see is $500. As a bird dog you are locating properties with motivated sellers and then letting an investor who you have an agreement with know about it. If they end of buying it, they will pay you the finders (bird dog) fee.
